Colin has spent over 6 years working with audio in various incarnations; from Film and TV, to music production and audio editing/engineering. His fluency in Logic Pro (5 through 9), Soundtrack Pro, Final Cut Pro, and recording techniques allow him to be a versatile “go-to” professional for various projects and never confined to any specific genre or style.

Colin was brought into a project where the recorded vocals needed a professional touch. Hear first the rough mix that the artist did on his own, lead vocals and harmonies unedited. Colin’s precision editing, along with vocal engineering and analog compression applied in the final released version. Timing issues were also solved in the harmonies, along with subtle pitch correction.
Original GarageBand file, “Transfusion” by experimental electronic artist, Trauma Doll. Artist approached Colin to take over the project “VOV XXX” and convert it’s songs into full Logic projects. Each of the four pieces were then mixed and engineered into the final product heard in the last example.
