Colin Cameron Allrich has been immersed in music production for over a decade. An original internet musician, he began releasing digital albums in 1998 at 17 years old as one of the first MP3.com artists. Since then, Colin has meticulously built his knowledge behind the mix desk, while simultaneously honing his unique production skills. In 2005 Colin made waves in the Electronic Dance community as a remixer on Lost Language’s special edition release of the seminal “Stage One” by John ‘Space Manoeuvres’ Graham. From there, Colin crafted remixes and original productions for Thrive Records, Cyber Recordings, Proton Music, and many more. Colin currently has well over 50 production credits with releases across the globe. 

A gifted teacher, Colin also spent six years working with Apple as a certified trainer for their line of pro applications. Colin is both Logic Pro certified (has been working with Logic since version 5) and Final Cut Pro certified. With his time at Apple, Colin crafted digital audio workshops and clinics on both pro app suites to various skill levels and continually praised by his students. 

2012 saw Colin create the first of it’s kind Channel Strips product pack for Logic Pro 9 released in partnership with UK’s Loopmasters. “Mix Essentials by Colin C.” is now one of Loopmasters top, 5 star rated products. Colin was also responsible for mastering Polytechnic Recordings entire 2012 catalog, continuing now into 2013.

His compositional work outside of the dance floor has been his main focus in the past years. Currently, he is producing and remixing as SLIGHTER.

His original compositions, collaborations and remixes have been featured on: HBO’s “True Blood”, Showtime’s “House Of Lies”, FOX’s “Bones”, “The People’s Choice Awards” 2010 & 2011, MTV’s “The City”, Comedy Central and more.

Colin’s flexibility within the music industry is what makes him unique. From providing mastering services to dance labels (Nightshade Music/Polytechnic Recordings), to sound designing and scoring for film (Konstantin/STEEL), and mixing rock bands (Languis “Pure” on Plug Research), Colin brings a new meaning to the term “one man army.”
